GRI can develop Sedimentation and Erosion and Control Plans during construction activities. States and municipalities have specific requirements for development of such plans for any land-disturbing activity that involves a minimum threshold of land disturbance. The plan provides the contractor involved in the land disturbance activity measures that must be used to minimize the transport of earth, silt, sediment and other construction debris from the site. Local and State rules require that the person conducting the land-disturbing activity shall install erosion and sedimentation control devices that are sufficient to retain the sediment generated by the activity within the boundaries of the tract during construction upon and development of the tract and that the person shall plant or otherwise provide a permanent ground cover sufficient to restrain erosion after completion of construction or development within a specified time period.
GRI can provide our clients with a comprehensive plan to minimize and manage sediment runoff from their sites.
GRI takes the time to understand the basic information and apply our expertise to reduce negative environmental impacts associated with erosion and sediment loss and help ensure compliance with state requirements and avoidance of violations and fines.
